day 13

img_9339Here’s one I got at TJ Maxx a few years ago by Echo. I got this same bag in two different patterns and used the other one more than this one. I couldn’t even give it away because the design wore off the top of the bag. This one is in much better shape. It’s great for carrying all my stuff, including a laptop, as long as it’s in a sleeve. There’s a cool outside pocket that’s only attached at the top, which makes the perfect phone pocket.

Full disclosure: I almost quit the blog a couple of days ago. I haven’t talked about COVID-19 much, but my husband and I are high risk. Anytime one of us coughs or sneezes, we’re looking around like, “who was that? Are you ok?” So it’s a very stressful time for everyone, of course, and we’re no different. The other day, one of us got sick, and I felt like the blog was irrelevant. But, we still have lots to be thankful or and to celebrate in this Easter season. I’m grateful we’re all doing ok and managing our symptoms, taking our medicine, adding health practices, and doing our best to lose weight and keep stress down. We have to do everything we can to be proactive so that we can minimize our risk factors. Take care of yourselves and each other, friends. Take care and peace.

days 11 & 12

Last night was hectic. That’s all I’m saying.

So today we have two bags. And I freely admit that I took bag 10 to the office to get my stuff. We’re in doing whatever hours.

Today I’m featuring these two bags selected by my husband David from the back of my closet door where all my favorites hang.

Bag 11 is a gorgeous white woven bag by Cole Haan. I’ve never used it – one day. I got it in the last year from the St. Vincent de Paul on Este for $14.

Bag 12 is by guess who – there’s a key – yes, it’s Fossil. I use this one a lot. Coated cotton canvas in this cute pattern… it’s the one I kept and I gave one in a different pattern away this year.

Ok y’all, peace.

day 5

One of my favorite Fossils. Mostly coated cotton which I love because it’s colorful and wipeable. Enough said.

bag 8 – claimed

I picked up this little baby at Valley Thrift and come on… Fossil, beads on the strap and zipper pull, the key is amazing; it’s all so adorable and classy. I am not leaving it there for $2.99. I know I used it at least once because the price tag is inside the bag, but I can’t remember when that was. So goodbye to thee, sweet baby. You are sooooo cute.

Email me at 50favbags@gmail.com if you’re into bag 8.

day 43

This Vera Bradley frame purse practically made me buy it at the Woodlawn goodwill this past winter. I really love frame bags and couldn’t leave without this purse. It’s very roomy and boasts a front pocket perfect for a phone or keys. This look was perfect for a spring Sunday that started off at church.

day 25

Dumped the contents of the orange Latico into this coated cotton Fossil. Got this one at goodwill a few years ago. I love the retro flowers and the keys. This bag is an instant mood boost. Note the cute feet on the Latico.

day 9

Ah yes, Fossil, how I love your coated cotton, your flowers, and the fact that there’s room for my water bottle. This is a Goodwill bag I use often because it’s lightweight and encouraging.
