Over here playing with Sandra doing FB live talking about the bags she got in this year’s giveaway made me feel like I’d done my blog post for today! But here it is just after midnight and lo and behold I realized I hadn’t. But I’m settled in and not going to find a bag, so here’s a throwback. I got this bag at the Tri-County Lane Bryant-so let that be an indicator that it was many years ago, at least 12-15. I remember seeing someone with it in the store who was about to buy it, so i got the last one. Someone tried to buy it from me in the store! You know my answer was a gentle and firm BACK UP.
This bag is best carried on the arm, but has a shoulder/crossbody strap hands-free moments. Usually, I carry this bag in the fall/winter, but last year I carried it just so it would be in the Easter celebration. I don’t get compliments on all of my bags but I always get at least one a day when I carry this baby. Not this year, though. This year of going nowhere means my stuff is still in a bag from a couple of days ago.
Target started teaming up with designers several years ago for limited edition, affordable product lines. Here’s one from Botkier, whose bags can run from $200-1500 for out of print versions. I like this little faux snakeskin bag, the details are very moto rocker. Clasp and zipper closure, chain strap, interior pockets and two snap exterior pouches. Would make a great evening bag for an edgier look. Of course it would look fabulous dressed down, too. Now, i wouldn’t have thought i would part with this, but the truth is, i found Miu Miu purse to serve the same function. So, there could only be one. Let me know if you’re feeling this botkier baby by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Got my boot off today; now rehab can begin. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
devi kroell for target bag from 2007
devi kroell for target. i love when the designers do target, but usually i can’t do the clothes because they don’t make plus sized. like big girls don’t want designer style! so, i accessorize.
i have really enjoyed this bag for the last 5+ years. it’s bigger than it looks, and has held up very well with its pleather self. it’s a great rainy day bag, dressy or casual.
it’s a keeper.
