Here’s an old and good one. Target does these limited edition lines with famous designers and I used to always get a bag from these lines, because i could never afford the real deals. This is a Devi Kroell snakeskin hobo bag and I used to carry it a lot. I still use it, but not as often – I can’t say why exactly. But when I want a dressy gold back I definitely reach for it. Maybe it’s because I carry a laptop bag every day and this is a bit big and won’t fit in there.
Ok my big news is I finally got my backpack reviews uploaded to my YouTube channel! Here are the links, please check them out when you’re bored or looking for backpack reviews. I filmed them today and am super excited about making them. I’m crazy.

Liberty of London for Target – finally. I reached for this many times but decided to get past the halfway point. Sometimes you have to hold the carrot to ensure success.
Devi Kroell for Target from maybe 12 years ago. Looks just as great as when I bought it. Hobo style, snakeskin pattern, fits well on my shoulder – an overall great bag.
Let me get this over with quickly. I mentioned this year would be sacrificial = so to prepare, I got a bunch of bags together several months ago so I wouldn’t agonize about my choices in the beginning. When I pulled this out of the bag, I began to barter with myself, and *almost* took it back. Then I sighed, waited until a few minutes ago, snapped these pics, and here we are.
I got this bag when Target first started partnering with designers for special, short-run lines. This Isaac Mizrahi tote converts from a bowling-bag style when snapped to a large tote when unsnapped at the sides. Carry it with the handles or crossbody. I’ve put this bag in the giveaway for a few years and always rescued it. Time for someone else to enjoy it.
BTW this is a non-leather bag, but even after use, it’s in great shape. Email email@example.com and request bag 6.
My angel babe finishes out this year’s bag giveaway with a Loeffler Randall for Target faux leather bag. What a gorgeous bag, inside and out. Lined with gold fabric, this bag is both structured and relaxed. I usually rock this in the autumn and winter months. If this bag speaks to you, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here ends the bag giveaway. I’ve enjoyed the thrills and challenges of this process. I can definitely say that my buying habits have changed. I leave many, many more bags in the store that i would have purchased in the past. That might not bode well for future giveaways, but it bodes well for my clutter, consumption, and wallet.
Tomorrow begins 50 favorite bags, where I carry a different bag each day of Easter from my not-so-massive-anymore collection. That process presents its own set of fun and challenges – like not quite getting everything out of a bag and having to retrace my bag steps to find that receipt, appointment slip, nail clipper… first world problems.
I wish you all a blessed Easter, if you celebrate. Whether you do or don’t, I wish you peace.
Target started teaming up with designers several years ago for limited edition, affordable product lines. Here’s one from Botkier, whose bags can run from $200-1500 for out of print versions. I like this little faux snakeskin bag, the details are very moto rocker. Clasp and zipper closure, chain strap, interior pockets and two snap exterior pouches. Would make a great evening bag for an edgier look. Of course it would look fabulous dressed down, too. Now, i wouldn’t have thought i would part with this, but the truth is, i found Miu Miu purse to serve the same function. So, there could only be one. Let me know if you’re feeling this botkier baby by emailing me at email@example.com.
Got my boot off today; now rehab can begin. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Liberty of London for target bag
i put off wearing this purse for as long as i could. liberty of london for target, maybe 3 years ago – there were lots of clothes, kids stuff, none of which i can wear. but when i saw this bag i knew i could participate. i love using it in the spring and summer months and i have to force myself to give it a rest, because i don’t want to wear it out. it’s got side pockets, people, 3 interior pockets, and two, front and back, now – two more exterior pouches. and then, to cap it all off, it’s got a strap to make it a shoulder bag or cross body. it’s a well organized bag that makes me happy. it doesn’t get much better than that for an inanimate object. perfect for a day like today.
ps: i just checked, and i was right – this line is from March 2010. i’m just glad my memory is still accurate in at least one arena.
devi kroell for target bag from 2007
devi kroell for target. i love when the designers do target, but usually i can’t do the clothes because they don’t make plus sized. like big girls don’t want designer style! so, i accessorize.
i have really enjoyed this bag for the last 5+ years. it’s bigger than it looks, and has held up very well with its pleather self. it’s a great rainy day bag, dressy or casual.
it’s a keeper.
