My angel babe finishes out this year’s bag giveaway with a Loeffler Randall for Target faux leather bag. What a gorgeous bag, inside and out. Lined with gold fabric, this bag is both structured and relaxed. I usually rock this in the autumn and winter months. If this bag speaks to you, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here ends the bag giveaway. I’ve enjoyed the thrills and challenges of this process. I can definitely say that my buying habits have changed. I leave many, many more bags in the store that i would have purchased in the past. That might not bode well for future giveaways, but it bodes well for my clutter, consumption, and wallet.
Tomorrow begins 50 favorite bags, where I carry a different bag each day of Easter from my not-so-massive-anymore collection. That process presents its own set of fun and challenges – like not quite getting everything out of a bag and having to retrace my bag steps to find that receipt, appointment slip, nail clipper… first world problems.
I wish you all a blessed Easter, if you celebrate. Whether you do or don’t, I wish you peace.
A couple of years ago, wristlets and little hand bags were the “in” trend. I saw this bag at the St. Vincent de Paul in Mt. Washington, a weird-shaped bag that you carry on your wrist of in your hand. I like weird, so I bought it. Looks much better over Kaia’s arm than mine, I can tell you that! The beautiful cognac color and supple leather balance out the unique shape. If you like to be different, try this bag. Email me at email@example.com if it’s calling your name.
Since my models went to bed without taking a photo, I’m offering up a sweet little woven purse from The Sak, just in time for Easter Sunday. This purse is light wheat in color with a clasp closure, and handles long enough for the shoulder or to carry on your arm. It’s the perfect spring purse – like carrying a basket, but softer and classier. Got it at Goodwill several years ago because I just can’t resist The Sak! I hope you enjoy it after emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I bought this tan vegan cross body tote by ana (JC Penny brand) for my daughter, Nia. Since she left it here, I’m going to assume she doesn’t want it. You might, though, since it has a long strap, two handles, and lots of pockets and pouches. Snap closure It’s lightweight and great for someone with lots to carry. Email me at 50 fav email@example.com if you’re interested.
Still available: Bag 1, Bag 5, Bag 8, Bag 11, Bag 13, Bag 33, Bag 34, Bag 35. These are headed to Dress for Success if not claimed. Peace.
I’ve been getting rid of lots of bags that are too heavy for me. Getting old is great, except for the various physical maladies that can arise. A neck issue means I can’t carry those fabulous but heavy purses. Here’s one that is NOT too heavy; in fact, it’s the lightest purse i own. That doesn’t change the fact that i can only have so many black bags. This is Kenneth Cole Reaction quilted purse that’s great for travel. Two side pouches and interior pockets keep important stuff handy. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to “take it light.” Yeah that’s one of David’s phrases.
This leather tote with brass studs by Carlos Falchi is up for grabs today. Roomy interior, front pocket and two side zipper pouches keep your stuff together. HMU at email@example.com.
