Fringe. I don’t always love it, but when I do, it’s likely on a bag. I bought this brown Raj fringe bag at TJ Maxx at least seventeen years ago, probably more. It’s a fun bag, but a bit of a black hole (meaning it’s cavernous with not a lot of organization inside) and I have another bag with fringe that I like a whole lot better. Even though I have loved this bag for years, it’s time to let it go.
I admit that I thought I would never get rid of this bag. I have a friend who really loves this bag and she said if I ever get rid of it to let her know. I was like, “yeah, girl, right… I’ll do that.” So I did that, but it’s up for grabs to you, too, because it’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind.
One of my Lenten learnings through the years is that we don’t need all of this stuff. The more I give away, the more I want to give away. The more bags I give away, the better I feel. Many of you practice generosity during Lent; I love seeing what you’re doing. I pray that I can continue to be this generous throughout the rest of the year.
If you like this bag, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following info: bag 11, your name, your address. Thanks!
