rippin’ and runnin’ is what was up today. mondays are often like that, but with ap exams and a graduating senior in the mix it got a little hairy. so i did what many a mom would do: dropped the middle one off at cello and went to starbucks, got a tall mocha, and went to the park with the youngest to hit the swing set .
this purse is a favorite that i intentionally put off until the latter part of the 50 days to spread the love. it’s a fossil, fabric with leather trim. yes, it came from my favorite goodwill for $8. or maybe $12, i can’t remember. either way, i really have enjoyed this bag because it’s very well organized. it has three exterior pockets – one big pouch in the back, a zippered pocket and flap pouch in front; and three interior pockets. it’s not too cavernous that i lose my giant key ring in the bottom.
we’re fortunate that the street where my daughter takes cello lessons has a park, so on nice days my sweet baby loves to swing. i love to swing too, but sometimes i’m working or reading while she swings. today i joined her, and i’m really glad i did. swinging gives me such a great feeling. there’s nothing like the wind rushing through my whole person – it takes me right back to being 6 again.
she begged me to take a picture of the purse on her lap like i did her sister yesterday. here’s a closeup of the front pockets and handles held by one of the sweetest hands on the planet. thank you, God, for my girls. i don’t think about what i would do without them.
